We Call Them Pirates pattern from
We've been skipping Christmas gift giving for a few years now, much to our and our families relief. Still a few things slip by and we all end up getting a gift. This is one of my knit items, a mini sweater Christmas ornament complete with a hand crafted hanger.
I am not a big fan of this project. It felt tedious even thought it probably took less than an hour. The candle on the other hand is awesome. It's soy and smells yummy like baking cinnamon rolls.
I ran across this way cool sweater worn by Bonnie Parker of the Bonnie & Clyde fame. I love the whole outfit really. Who would have thought, guns as accessories?

This was to be my vacation knitting project, however I've knit most of it post vacation. Here is the first photo and almost 60% of the way done. So far I'm enjoying it, yay!
Where does that time go anyways?
Life thankfully has kept me busy, but there has been no blogging and very little crafting. I'm getting itchy to create and have a long queue of projects to keep me busy this winter until my next set of foster "children".
My belated "thanks" at missing the holiday is "Thanks for health, family, friends and baked goods". Where would I be without you.
